If
you're hanging around Anthem for Labor Day weekend, don't miss out on
the Concert in the Park event in the amphitheater at the Anthem
Community Park. Admission is free and there'll be a live band, snacks

Del Webb Goes Pink - October 9, 2010 at 8 am
This year marks the 3rd Annual Del Webb Goes Pink event! Open to the public, registrants receive a t-shirt and can choose to participate in a 3-mile or 1-mile walk/run to raise funds for breast cancer research. Walk begins at the Sun City Anthem Union Center and walks on the cart paths of the Poston Butte Golf Course. VIEW the event flier! REGISTER online now!
FITT for Life Expo - November 13, 2010 from 11 am - 4 pm
This event is open to the public and is a health and wellness lifestyle event at the Sun City Anthem Union Center parking lot and outdoor area. Event includes health screenings, blood drive, mammograms (by app't), vendors and exhibitors, beer garden, food, FITT Kids Playground and much more! * Our first semester in 2006 had 11 participants and offered 5 classes.
* In our most recent semester, we had 126 participants and offered 21 courses (many multiple session).
* In percentage growth terms, the Lifelong Learning Program at Sun City Anthem is the fastest growing Lifelong Learning Program in Arizona.
* In a typical month 180 residents and guests use the computers in our Center.
* Our courses are well received by participants with satisfaction ratings of 4.2 out of 5.

Did You Know?
As a resident of Sun City Anthem you are automatically entitled to a membership in the Academy. We no longer charge a “membership fee” to register for Academy classes. You can now decide to participate on a course-by-course basis, according to your interests and passions. Our new lineup of classes for Fall 2009 is fabulous! As always, our free classes and
workshops are open to all residents of the community.
The best news is for those who really thrive on participating in our classes. Check out the great discount in electing the Super Student Package – one price and you select the four courses that interest you!
